What is the HIFU machine?

The HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) machine is a medical device that uses focused ultrasound energy to heat targeted areas of the skin, stimulating collagen production and leading to skin tightening and rejuvenation. The HIFU Machine offers natural looking results without needing Botox or Filler and is often referred to as a non-surgical facelift.

How does the HIFU machine work?

The HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) machine works by delivering focused energy deep into the skins layers to stimulate collagen production and/or skin tightening. HIFU targets specific layers of the skin including the superficial muscular aponeurotic system (SMAS) which is the same layer tightening during a surgical facelift. The ultrasound waves bypass the surface of the skin reaching depths of 1.5mm, 3mm and 4.5mm. The thermal energy stimulates neocollagenesis (new collagen production) leading to skin tightening, improved elasticity and wrinkle reduction.

What is the cost of HIFU Treatment?
The price of each treatment is $800 ($599 for the month of may/June). Unfortunately no skin treatments can be claimable through private health.

How do I make an appointment?
We currently do not offer online bookings for any of our HIFU treatments, if you’re looking to book you will need to call one of our clinics, or fill out the below enquiry form, and our staff will assist you in making an appointment.

How long does each treatment take?
Depending on the area being treated the time will vary, most treatments take around 30-60 minutes.

How will I know what treatment is best for me?
Before any treatment is given, all patients will have a consult first to address any questions, concerns and desired results.

When would I see results?
Results are immediate, but most visible improvement appears 2-3months when new collagen regenerates.

How often should I have the treatment done?
Each patient is different, and the time frame will vary depending on what treatment is done. Once initial treatment is completed, most patients should wait until 6-18months for maintenance.
